Philip James steps up to role of director of sales, while Ian Rice becomes national account manager.

Plum Products is embracing expansion with the promotion of two sales executives.

The active play specialist has promoted Philip James (top left) to the role of director of sales, while Ian Rice (top right) steps up to the position of national account manager.

James boasts considerable experience of working with the firm’s major retailers, gained over the five years he has been with the company.

In his new role, James takes on responsibility for all Plum sales covering both the UK and the company’s developing international markets.

Promoted from his previous role as national account controller, James takes over from Jon Tilley, who has left to pursue new challenges in the baby and nursery sector.

Heading national accounts, Rice will now take on responsibility to drive sales to a portfolio of major Plum UK customers.

"I would also like to congratulate Ian who has been with Plum for three years, during which time he has generated some strong sales for the company.
