According to data released from the national foreign trade ministry, Mdic, Brazil’s heavy plate imports decreased in November to 2,788 tons versus 4,136 tons in the previous month. The figures increased by 4% year on year.

From January to November, Brazil imported a total of 106,179 tons of heavy plates, slumping by 64% from 294,430 tons in the same period in 2012.
